Seattle Musician Promo, EMMY

SQUEEEEEE! I’m so excited to finally share this RADICAL promo we shot LAST SUMMER for rising Seattle pop-star EMMY. She was a blast to work with, and it was probably the most ambitious musician promo I’ve shot yet. We covered five different looks, and shot at different locations ALL over Seattle until well after dark. It was really fun to work with her, and I hope you enjoy a burst of energy from these photos! tish - Awesome images! I’ve read you mostly like to shoot wide with your 35mm. For these shots at what aperture were you generally at?

Michelle Moore - Wow, thanks everyone for such lovely feedback!! I’m sure EMMY really appreciates it too!! :) @tish when I am shooting with my 35mm I am almost ALWAYS at f1.4. I did this session about half & half with my 35 & 50mm. When shooting with my 50mm I’m anywhere between f1.0 & f2.2. My style is to shoot wide open ALWAYS.

Rosie - These are stunners!!! Emmy, you look completely radiant—especially in the spangled disco tunic (my favorite)! Michelle, every single color here is beautiful! The color shot at night is delicious. Still scouring thrift stores for that perfect Harley tee for you :) This was definitely one of the most fun and rewarding projects I’ve ever had the pleasure of working on.

s h e r r y - These are GORGEOUS! <3 <3 The first outfit reminds me of the camp counsellor photoshoot you did once. And I just loove the nighttime ones :)

Mary - wow, these feel different from your normal photos somehow, but I must say I love it!! The night shots are just magical and the whole shoot is just so PRO. I can imagine these as a magazine cover.
