Seattle Senior Portraits, Shelby Class of 2010

First Senior Session up on the new blog! We did Shelby’s session last fall, on a gorgeous sunny day. She took me to a really fabulous park that she loves, and it was amazing all the colors and textures we found as backdrops to the photos. Shelby has the CUTEST hair cut, smile, clothes, and it was a blast meeting her and hanging out with such a bright, bubbly personality. I hope you enjoy her images, especially since the new blog rocks them out bigger & bolder then ever before!!

Mary - these are so gorg and vibrant! She’s so elegant and she rocks out every single scene! (I esp love all the twigs/branches/sunlight, they’re so lyrical) LOVEE how the images appear on the new blog layout!!!!

tish - these are fantastic! i find myself going through your photos fixated on the lighting and trying to guess in which shots you used a reflector/white shirt/or nothing at all!

Michelle Moore - Thanks Tish! That’s an awesome way to study and learn!! I do the same thing with my favorite images from other photographers (and even on TV shows!) Next, go out and practice!! :)

Micah Cordes - Love this set. Perfect job of capturing her.

Sarah - These are so incredibly amazing! She looks like a super model, and isn’t that just what every senior wants? Did you use a reflector or a flash in some of these shots, the light in her face is amazing in the shots where she is wearing white!
Your work is amazing and I love the new blog :)

Michelle Moore - Sarah, thanks for the compliment! If you head down to the next post you can read our article about lighting. It’s all natural light only, I do not use flash. Thanks!

Brie - Ahhhhh! I love this shoot. The colors and depth of field just make these photos so pretty.

s h e r r y - :) These are so pretty! She has such a cute hair cut, and lips that ScarJo can be jealous of!

Maya Laurent - She’s gorgeous! Love the white sweater ones…that tree has such cool texture.

Kirsten - Hi Michelle

Gorgeous as always! I love the light in these… do you use a reflector sometimes? x

Michelle Moore - Thanks everyone! Kirsten, yes sometimes I do use a reflector to shape light where needed.
