Happy March! Who is excited for SPRING? *raises hand*! It’s so beautiful today in Seattle, and I’m really excited about the warm weather arriving soon!! If you know me, you know that when I enjoy something, a LOT, well, I can get a bit obsessed. When I think of all my favorite things together in the world, I get that snuggly-pillow-feeling inside. Here is my “Obsessed List” for March What are you totally drooling over this month?! Leave a comment with your favorite things. I wanna know!
SPLURGE:: I’m SO excited about my [Marc by Marc Jacobs] tote. I have been searching for one for ages, and eagerly searching the sale racks in hopes of finding one on SALE. These bags are a little pricey, but I totally scored on a BRIGHT orange extra large tote on sale (plus gif tcard = sweet deal!!). I LOVE it because it’s HUGE and perfect for my laptop, planner, notebook, re-usable [Starbucks cold cup] and everything else in between.
COOK:: I’m the first to admit I’m not an avid chef, or anything, but I ADORE the [Sprouted Kitchen] blog for the killer photographer by [Hugh Forte] and yummy treats. The latest posts TOTALLY have me inspired to start experimenting in the kitchen. YUM!
WATCH:: I can’t wait for [Alice in Wonderland] to hit the theaters this weekend. I LOVE [Johnny Depp] & [Tim Burton], so even though Alice is not my favorite story of all time, I’m pretty sure they are going to make it totally amazing. I know some people are not so excited about this film, but I was a HUGE fan of Depp’s performance in Wonka and Sweeny Todd, so needless to say, I’m really looking forward to his take on the Mad Hatter. What are your thoughts?
TREND:: Wedges are back this year, and I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with them. For me they go in and out of style VERY fast, so one minute I’m in love with a pair, then totally feel out-dated. These [Sam Edelman's] are the perfect amount of wedge, and rockstar, to create a lasting sexy style that will carry you into fall. I can’t wait to get a pair, they are SO cute!! (Plus Sam Edelman is my favorite shoe designer. He’s a little out there at times, but every collection contains an instant classic, and they are super comfortable!)
WISH!:: I’ve decided that one day I will own a cute [Pug] and name him Bruno. Every time I run Greenlake I look at all the cute doggies and want to take them all home!! I saw TWO really cute Pugs last week, and am pretty set on getting one sometime in the future!!

hugh - yeyah! i would totally take a pug to go see alice in wonderland while snacking on some sprouted kitchen goodies.
s h e r r y - I LOVE the MJ tote! <3 <3 And I really want to see Alice too :) :) I'm a fan of wedges, since I can't walk or stand in heels, I think that a wedge gives me more support.
Hannah - Love it! I really adore that bag. MJ makes such beautiful bags – I still use my Stam that was bought in ’05.
As for the wedges, it is now Autumn here (Australia) so I am more about boots than sandals. They’d be fabu for next summer, though!
Emilee Fuss - I can’t wait to see Alice in Wonderland, either, and plan to see it on my birthday this weekend. :) I never liked the movie as a kid, but this is Johnny Depp and Tim Burton. I’m so there!

Christine Pobke - love your list! okay, this is gonna be a big comment, i can tell! :) SPLURGE: i’m not gonna lie, i want everything in my anthropologie shopping cart (currently at $1805.29). COOK: strangely, i’m obsessed w/some recipes off of gwyneth paltrow’s GOOP newsletter! three of them have already become regulars in the pobke household! WATCH: dying to watch the hurt locker (AND alice in wonderland) TREND: the kelly moore camera bag – i want the grey one because i think i’ll look super stylish like that model on her site. LOL. :) WISH: world peace. hehehe. we want to buy a house this year and we’re wishing for some good homes… keeping our fingers crossed. (and then getting a labrador retriever!)

Lesley - I just went to our version of Norstrom over the weekend to look at some Marc Jacob purses cause I so want to own one, one day! Not too sure about the wedge thing though, I always feel like they make my calves look bigger then they actually are. :D
