Happy March! Who is excited for SPRING? *raises hand*! It’s so beautiful today in Seattle, and I’m really excited about the warm weather arriving soon!! If you know me, you know that when I enjoy something, a LOT, well, I can get a bit obsessed. When I think of all my favorite things together in the world, I get that snuggly-pillow-feeling inside. SPLURGE:: I’m SO excited about my [Marc by Marc Jacobs] tote. I have been searching for one for ages, and eagerly searching the sale racks in hopes of finding one on SALE. These bags are a little pricey, but I totally scored on a BRIGHT orange extra large tote on sale (plus gif tcard = sweet deal!!). I LOVE it because it’s HUGE and perfect for my laptop, planner, notebook, re-usable [Starbucks cold cup] and everything else in between.
COOK:: I’m the first to admit I’m not an avid chef, or anything, but I ADORE the [Sprouted Kitchen] blog for the killer photographer by [Hugh Forte] and yummy treats. The latest posts TOTALLY have me inspired to start experimenting in the kitchen. YUM!
WATCH:: I can’t wait for [Alice in Wonderland] to hit the theaters this weekend. I LOVE [Johnny Depp] & [Tim Burton], so even though Alice is not my favorite story of all time, I’m pretty sure they are going to make it totally amazing. I know some people are not so excited about this film, but I was a HUGE fan of Depp’s performance in Wonka and Sweeny Todd, so needless to say, I’m really looking forward to his take on the Mad Hatter. What are your thoughts?
TREND:: Wedges are back this year, and I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with them. For me they go in and out of style VERY fast, so one minute I’m in love with a pair, then totally feel out-dated. These [Sam Edelman's] are the perfect amount of wedge, and rockstar, to create a lasting sexy style that will carry you into fall. I can’t wait to get a pair, they are SO cute!! (Plus Sam Edelman is my favorite shoe designer. He’s a little out there at times, but every collection contains an instant classic, and they are super comfortable!)
WISH!:: I’ve decided that one day I will own a cute [Pug] and name him Bruno. Every time I run Greenlake I look at all the cute doggies and want to take them all home!! I saw TWO really cute Pugs last week, and am pretty set on getting one sometime in the future!!
