I’m really excited to finally share my favorite images from another Spring Beauty editorial we shot a few months ago. This concept has literally been at least two years in the making (Jenny can totally vouch for that!). I’ve wanted to do this shoot for SO LONG, but the timing has never been quite right. It turns out, waiting for 2010 was on par, since WHITE is back for Spring this year. It was hours of setting up the AstroTurf walls (I think we had 3, 10′x12′ corners to be exact), but I totally loved the effect it created. I was also just coming back from the [Melissa Rodwell] workshop, which was perfect for applying the right lighting techniques I needed to nail this shoot. All in all, I am very happy with the outcome of this shoot. It took on many different forms over the years as I worked down the final details, but it came out just right.
