Kia Gregory - I have been drooling over these new actions so this contest came at a perfect time! Favorite Spring activity has got to be flying kites. I guess we can do that all the time but the typically mild weather plus the low winds make an hour at the park with a big ol’ kite in the blue sky way fun!

Ashlee - OH MY! I’m so excited for this giveaway. I just found out about Formula One this week! My favorite spring activity right now is sitting out on the deck, sipping coffee and enjoying my beautiful backyard. I love seeing the pretty flowers blooming! My indoor kitties have even come out a few times to explore. :)

My favorite spring activity is, of course, frolicking outside in the grass and sunshine with my camera. In particular, I enjoy picking out a few random objects from around the house, hauling them outside in the sun, and seeing what my camera can make of these objects free from the dusty innards of my house.

Yolanda - I learned to appreciate spring when I lived in Seattle. Spring is usually subtle here in Southern California due to our constant state of drought. But when it arrives, I like to go on family bike rides in the evenings which are still cool, but sunny.

Ryan Young - Having recently moved back to Arizona, Spring is unfortunately the end of good weather, rather then the beginning as in much of the rest of the U.S. and world. However, we lived abroad for 5 years, the first four in Holland. Spring was without a doubt my favorite Dutch season. The Keukenhof world-renown tulip gardens near Amsterdam are only open for 11 weeks (mid-March to mid May) and we went every year. Glorious rows upon rows of all types of tulips. In Holland we lived in a small rural village and my wife and I both loved Spring for the arrival of baby lambs to neighboring farms. Arizona is great, but I do miss Spring.

Steve T - I am a semi-pro photographer, so in Spring when the love and flowers are blooming, I am busy with engagement photo sessions.

Rachel - Well, spring means calving season. And what comes after calving season? BRANDING! It’s so fun to see all the calves being born and then to see their excitement and energy about life! Saykana - My favorite spring activity is to go somewhere I have never been or have not been to in years and take my camera (not meant as a cliche…I literally…do…bring my camera…). Someplace that is out of my element where I bring family or friends along. This year is it going to be the Pacific Science Center and Vancouver B.C. My main drive is to photograph the butterfly exhibit. There is just something exhilarating about getting out of your own created world and diving into the larger one. Also exhited about going to New Orleans in June.

Maria Hibbs - Spring is my favorite season! I feel inspired by just looking out the window and seeing the trees start having leaves again. It brightens my mood and gets me excited about being able to shoot outside more. I love Spring!!

Renee - I’m not a professional photographer per say, BUT I must admit, all my Photography clients have me drooling over these. I hear about them more and more all the time! I am, however, trying to learn to shoot pro (http://www.ribbonsofred.com/projectphotography/) so these could really come in handy for me.

My favorite Spring activity is corn hole. It’s totally an East coast thing, but you can check out the game here: http://www.playcornhole.org . I know, I’m such a hillbilly. Tossing bean bags in a hole, but it’s soooo fun, especially when everyone is having a summer block party!

I know this has probably been said already but there’s nothing better than sitting with close friends in a beautiful park and having a picnic in spring. The weather here in Lawrence is so gorgeous. No wind and the temperature is around 70. It’s so lovely but don’t forgot to take your allergy medication if you are allergic to pollen or you’ll have a sniffily picnic. :)
