Just this past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing three sisters on a sunny Saturday afternoon! This family has FIVE gorgeous daughters, all of whom we have now worked with! We first met Joy last year for her senior portraits, and then later on, Erica for her model portfolio. Their dad is a dentist and the family wanted portraits of the remaining three girls in order to have a photo of each daughter to be used on his business website (to show off their beautiful smiles of course!).
I wanted to share what their mother wrote to me yesterday after the shoot. Her words really touched me, and highlight in specific why I absolutely love my job. Her message made my day, and I’m really excited she allowed me to post here on the blog (along with images of ALL her daughters together!) Thank you Teresa and all the girls for choosing me to be your photographer!! It’s really been a pleasure to meet you all!
“…I wanted to share with you what happened on Saturday with the girls. Sonja was looking forward to getting her pictures taken, but Natalie and April really didn’t want to– I was pretty much making them do it for me, for the website. Anyway, while you were taking Sonja’s pictures and Natalie and me and April were waiting in the car, Natalie says, “Mama, I don’t feel good, and I have a really bad canker sore and I really don’t want to get my picture taken.” And then April said, “I don’t want to either. Don’t make me!” So anyway, Sonja comes back to the car and says, “That was fun!!!” So I thought, well at least Sonja is OK with it. Then Natalie goes out there with you and April is kind of moping in the back seat, and Natalie comes back in the car and says, “That was fun!!!” So I thought, well at least Natalie and Sonja enjoyed it. So then April goes out there with you, and the three of us waiting in the car are talking about how April is probably miserable right now, but when she comes back she gets in the car and says, “That was fun!!!” I was so pleased!
I asked Erica what it is about getting pictures taken by you and she says you do make it fun and really relaxing. You have a really good personality for it, as well, of course as great talent and skill. I’m so glad we have been able to hire you for pictures. There are so many photographers out there, but you are such a good fit for us….” Teresa – Mom
