This year Michelle Moore is very excited to announce the start of our first official Internship Program. We are looking for someone who is preferably a student, with a strong interest in photography and fashion, motivated, cheerful, and ready to learn!! We offer a great insight into running a successful senior portrait business, as well as a taste for the local fashion industry.

THE INTERNSHIP
*We are looking for someone to start first thing in May 2010.
*We are located in Seattle, WA near the Wallingford & Fremont Neighborhoods
*Having your own car/transportation is required
*This internship is non-paid, but we aim to teach you as much as possible on a daily basis
*School credit is provided, given you are a student
*We are looking for someone who can give us a 5-month minimum commitment

We’ll be setting up interviews with potential interns in early April, and have a two week trial run at the end of April.

INTERN DUTIES
Tasks include, but are not limited to,
*Starting at 3 days a week, Tuesday-Thursday (about 12 hours)
*Handle client galleries (prepare, upload, etc.)
*Place client print orders
*Package and ship any print/album orders
*Errands to UPS or Office Supply store
*Write Thank-you notes
*Keep track of new inquiries
*File papers
*Keep schedule organized
*Update client website
*Help with marketing
*Location Scouting
*Assist at shoots (when available, not required)
Extra duties for someone also interested in Fashion
*Research Magazine Submissions, contests, etc.
*Help produce fashion shoots
*Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends
*Assist at shoots (when available, not required)

We provide all equipment necessary for you to work with us from our loft-studio.
We will teach you everything you need to know about your tasks as an intern. We do ask that you already have a working knowledge of apple computers, software, and Photoshop. It will make your learning experience that much better!
